RSA, the public-key cryptosystem used to secure data transmission, is hosting its RSA Conference (RSAC) for the first time in-person in two years.  The conference is set to take place in San Francisco from June 6 to 9, 2022.

There are dozens of conferences, panels, and expositions for the cybersecurity community. This conference brings together the cybersecurity industry to support and empower smarter and stronger teams against cyber-attacks.

Each year they host an RSAC Innovation Sandbox Contest to showcase start-up companies and their innovative systems to help companies’ cybersecurity. According to Innovation Sandbox judge, Paul Kocher, we can expect to see this year’s startup companies providing systems to help with all categories within API security, cybersecurity, and tech.  Previous years have focused more on the same issue, whereas there are multiple topics addressed at this year’s contest that feels like no competition amongst the startups.

Last year’s RSA Conference Innovation Sandbox winner, Apiiro, helps fix risks associated with code development in cloud-native apps.
