IT Technician / Network Administrator (Full-Time)

CompuOne Corporation, a full-service managed IT provider headquartered in San Diego, is looking for a talented IT Technician / Network Administrator to support and expand our clients’ network environments. You’ll take ownership of installations, configurations, troubleshooting, and support for routers, switches, firewalls, and more.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Install, configure, and support network infrastructure: switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
  • Optimize network performance, monitor uptime, and enforce security best practices
  • Support network users, resolve technical issues, and manage access rights
  • Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365 environments
  • Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and disaster recovery plans
  • Evaluate new technologies and contribute to ongoing infrastructure improvements
  • Participate in network upgrade and implementation projects alongside senior engineers
  • Travel locally to client sites as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Provide excellent technical support to end users and clients

 What You Bring:

  • 2–5 years of experience in network/system administration
  • Strong knowledge of VLANs, STP, LACP, QoS, and firewall configuration
  • Familiarity with Windows Server (2012+), Active Directory, and Office 365
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, ESXi)
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex networking issues
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure network design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Industry certifications like CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or Microsoft Certified is a plus
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities
